Emergency procedures

In case of fire, accident, or other emergency

Stay calm. Do not run. Do not shout.Do not go back to retrieve personal belongings. Ask for help from Sogrape employees.

When reporting an emergency, clarify:

  1. What type of emergency it is;
  2. If there are victims and their condition;
  3. Where is the location;
  4. Identify yourself;
  5. Confirm that the message has been understood.

In case of evacuation:

  1. Go to the nearest meeting point in an orderly manner (see map on your visitor card or in this document).
  2. Follow Sogrape employees and/or existing signage;
  3. Wait for instructions on the cancellation of the emergency to resume activity or the visit.

Identification and Registration

Always keep your ID card visible during the visit. The Visitor Registration form must be returned upon departure.

No Smoke

General Restrictions

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas, except in designated areas (see map). Visitors are not allowed to go alone to sectors or buildings for which they have not been authorized at the entrance.

Speed Limit

Outdoor Circulation

Respect the speed limits imposed in the different outdoor circulation areas of the facility. Park your vehicle, in reverse, in the designated parking areas next to each building to be visited. Do not block doors, exits, or firefighting equipment.

Indoor Circulation

Indoor Circulation

For safety and hygiene reasons, visitors should not circulate in the production areas unless accompanied or authorized. Restricted access production or technical areas are identified with this sign.

Photography or Filming

Photography or Filming

Capturing images of production facilities is only allowed with prior authorization.

Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment

To visit certain production areas, you will be required to wear safety shoes and a high-visibility vest, which will be provided by the person visited.

The company performs 24-hour surveillance with CCTV. Images can be viewed during incident investigation.

Food Safety and Hygiene

Hand Washing

Hand washing with detergent is required before handling any material or product in the production area and every time you use the restroom.

Food, Drinks, and Tobacco

Food, Drinks, and Tobacco

Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the production, loading, and unloading areas, even outside.

Medicines

Medicines

Medicines are not allowed in the production area. If you need to take medicine during your stay, you must inform the Sogrape representative who will receive you, who will tell you how to proceed.

Injuries (Green Cross)

Injuries should be covered with blue band-aids. Go to the Nursing Station or Area First Aider.

Personal Items

Personal Items

In production areas, especially in filling, packaging, or areas with moving equipment, the use of wallets, bags, cell phones, adornment jewelry, and visible piercings is not allowed. Rings are also not allowed, except for a wedding ring without stones. Painted or false nails are also not allowed unless protective gloves are worn.

Hair and Beard Protection

Hair and Beard Protection

To enter or remain inside the depalletizing and filling area, it is mandatory to use a cap (to cover all hair) and beard protection (if applicable). In the Packaging Hall, loose or poorly secured hair should be avoided, which increases the risk of contact with moving parts of the lines.

Health Declaration

For food safety and hygiene reasons, all visitors must indicate if they have any food risk diseases, such as:

  • Eye, ear or nose secretions
  • Respiratory infection
  • Pathologies or dermatological alterations
  • Open wounds or cuts that cannot be covered with a band-aid
  • Gastrointestinal disorders in the last 48 hours

If affirmative, their entry must be confirmed by the person they are visiting.

Service Providers in Production Areas

Uniforms

Uniforms

Any employee of an external company operating within Sogrape's production facilities must wear appropriate, clean uniforms that do not represent a hygiene or contamination risk to the product. In the exposed product areas (depalletizing and filling), the uniform should not have pockets above the waist.

Always use appropriate PPEs for the tasks you will perform. In addition, you must be aware of the applicable PPEs for the work area where you will intervene and use them.

The use of mobile phones (and other electronic equipment (pads, smartwatches, etc.) is not allowed in production areas, except in a work context.

The work utensils required for the service must be properly stored when not in use, such as during breaks, meals, or at the end of the day.

Chemicals

Chemicals

Chemicals used in maintenance activities are kept in closed areas with restricted access (key). Used chemicals (such as oils) are discarded in containers designated for hazardous waste.

We are committed to minimizing the use of water and energy. All visitors must act responsibly, avoiding waste (turn off lights and equipment after use).

Other Precautions

Written instructions on the care to be taken during maintenance operations are available in locations or equipment where special procedures must be observed to safeguard product safety. Please ask the responsible person in the intervention sector for clarification before starting any work.
